“Polish Your Business Etiquette” With Stephanie Rowland of Top Dog Etiquette
Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Inn at Gig Harbor, 3211 56th St. NW. Gig Harbor, WA 98335
Do you find yourself trembling at the thought of stepping into a business event all alone? Perhaps tongue-tied when introducing yourself to new people or guests from out of town? Successful businesses are built on relationships, and that not only means schmoozing with ease at events, receptions and dinners, but understanding what your professional presence means to your business – and your bottom line.
The all-important first impression is about snap judgments and, in business etiquette, you may never know whether your manners are helping or hurting your business. It all begins with a warm and welcoming smile and handshake, but once the conversation starts … are you confident in your business etiquette skills? Join Stephanie Rowland for this fun and energizing session and walk away with a renewed confidence in your ability to successfully interact with your business contacts and represent yourself and your business – from the board room to the dining room.
THIS MEETING IS OPEN TO ALL. Second visit fee is waived for this special event.
AWOB’s Power Series meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at the Inn at Gig Harbor. These meetings feature guest speakers, round tables or panels on topics of particular interest to female entrepreneurs. The meetings, which begin at 5:00, offer unique opportunities to meet with other women business owners. Attendees will find the gathering is a great place to share challenges and experiences, and to walk away with information that will help take a business to the next level.
This event is free to AWOB members and first time guests – the fee for all others is $25, payable at the door. New members can sign up at the meeting .
A special feature of the Power Series meeting is the AWOB Meet Me After Hours, a no-host dinner, held after the meeting in the Inn at Gig Harbor restaurant. This casual one-on-one setting allows attendees to converse with the presenters and to continue networking with other women business owners in the area.
